The Safeworld International Foundation is an independent non-governmental organisation which campaigns for the rights of women and children.

"Through working with locally-based groups, we can help to make sustainable changes in a culturally-sensitive and empowering way.
Please help us to help others!"
Chris Crowstaff, Founder, Safe World for Women

Our diverse, multi-cultural team of volunteers is spread throughout the globe. We work to abolish human trafficking and slavery, domestic violence, poverty, war crimes and all forms of abuse of women and children. We campaign for women's rights advocates who have been unjustly detained.

Webzine

The hub of our work is our webzine: 'Safe World for Women'.

Our webzine provides a resource of articles on women’s rights issues, including our interviews with key women’s rights advocates. We cover a range of subjects from human trafficking, domestic violence and honour killings to children’s rights, conflict and peace and advocacy.

Field Partners

We partner with grassroots groups and organisations - our Field Partners - working with women and children at a regional level, dealing directly with issues such as poverty, HIV/AIDS, domestic violence, refugees and child labour.

Many of these groups have very sporadic internet access and often they have no website and no way of accepting online donations.

The Safe World webzine provides our Field Partners with a 'window to the world', helping to raise their profile, give them a voice and to connect them with potential funders. The Field Partners section of the webzine also helps funders, donors and philanthropists to more easily identify groups who are well-positioned to effectively utilise funding - hence ensuring that donations reach the grassroots.

"Dear Chris, Jen, and the team of Safe World for Women,

We are really very happy for all your support and effort you have put in to see that EACO goes to another level.

Since we came to know you and the articles you have published, they have linked EACO to so many classes of people, NGOs, volunteers, donors - and it's through this website that we came to know Just A Drop; our water and sanitation project is active, and we hope that even our child sacrifice project will be funded.

May God bless your work and give you whatever you want; it's my prayer and God Bless you and your team.

Shadrak.
Director, EACO Uganda, 19th January 2012"
